Working through a new piece
Quick sketched ideas :
This is how I usually work with random ideas, until I get something I can use for a final piece. On this occasion I thought about using a robot and a girl sitting by a river bank...
For a background I decided to use the ongoing current theme I'm using which is an industrial setting.
The final touch was to incorporate a rainbow flowing from the chimney instead of smoke. After all the theme is mainly fantasy.

Breaking away
Another commissioned piece showing a girl pulling a lever to drop a wrecking ball onto a bleak and dreary industrial landscape. While doing so the landscape breaks away and butterflies flow out. Maybe there is something brighter better behind the dark landscape? Acrylic on textured canvas.

Miniature Paintings in Acrylic
Recently I have found a new interest in making very small paintings with home made frames. Some are of my own design, while a couple of the others are recreations.
